Hearing loss is one of the main causes of workers’ compensation claims. Understanding how to control and mitigate sources of noise exposure is critical to reduce the risk of hearing loss, and associated claims. We’ll discuss how noise impacts the body, and how to select appropriate hearing protection. Participants will also learn how to develop and manage a hearing conservation program that aligns with OSHA’s standards.
